Praphai's Thai Wok in Schopfheim

Basically very good food. 1 star deduction, as the quality is unfortunately different from time to time and therefore not constant. Nevertheless, we always like to come back.

The first and last time, EC card only from 15 euros order value, food was okay, but nothing special ...

Just not original Thai and very germanized already. Some ingredients do not belong in Thai food. Food looks like from an industrial kitchen, not freshly-made Service is very friendly but this place is one of the poorer quality places of the chain here in Frankfurt.

Price / performance is not right here. For what you get way too expensive and extra cost for meat and it doesn't taste fresh.

I would understand the price increase if there was more quality instead of quantity. Since I don't eat peppers, there was a tiny piece of broccoli and a few carrots in the curry as well as a lot of green beans. The red curry, which was rather white, tasted very bland as a result. To charge 8 euros for rice and green beans is heavy ... would have liked to complain, but unfortunately we had picked up the food.

New card. Price but justified! Quality okay and portions are very large. What I do not understand, however, is that many come in here without a nose mask and walk around the restaurant. Likewise, no data is recorded. Been there 2 times in the last 10 days and the same picture both times. I won't come back for now, because my health comes first!

The food is really delicious, the waitresses are all extremely nice and well organized. Unfortunately, recently prices have increased significantly and many dishes have been streamlined.

Change of the card with significantly increased prices. Less differentiated. Quality has decreased significantly over the last few years and you can only taste flavor enhancers. It's a shame that the decision was made for quantity instead of quality.

Pity! Unfortunately, the prices have increased significantly from one day to the next. But the food is still the same as is the portion size. As a result of the sharp increase in prices, in my opinion the price-performance ratio is now significantly worse than it was before. Therefore, we will not go to the Thai wok as often in the future, but also take a closer look at the other restaurants in the neighborhood.

The Thai wok recently got a new menu. If you know the old card, the suspicion arises that the card was only changed to cover up new, SIGNIFICANTLY increased prices with a modular ordering system. The food itself is the same as before (quality / portion). A price increase of this magnitude is therefore not entirely understandable and a shame.

Raised prices in a utopian way overnight? However, food has still remained average. So why the increase? What has changed and how is the increase justified? If I go to my boss and ask if I get more money, but still only do my work to a limited extent, I don't get a raise. The staff is top-notch - owners don't get fed up enough. Exactly the same garbage at the Westbahnhof. Was there about the last two to three years, due to the price performance. Food was ok, as well as the price. Now the food is still ok and prices like Hollywood.

Sorry, but only offering card payments from € 15 is no customer service and, especially in times of Corona, contactless payment can be useful. It does not have to be that an order process is commented on with the words "always these special requests". Soup and main course were unfortunately brought at the same time ("You should have said beforehand"). Fried rice was sometimes very hard and uncomfortable to eat, as if it contained uncooked or burnt rice grains. I remembered the Thai wok better in the past. Pity!

Beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. The mint tea and sweet and sour crispy duck are delicious!

Huge variety of dishes. We ordered rice noodles, and rice with shrimps, however both a little sweeter than the tradicional flavour. Nothing to highlight.

Good kitchen and friendly service that can handle lots of customers quickly. And that for reasonable pricing.

They are really fast

I fluctuate between 3 and 4 stars because the restaurant is actually not bad. It is large, clean and modern. When you come in, you order directly in the counter like in a self-service restaurant. But you are served at the table. I had a soup and a main course. I had better soup in other restaurants, but the taste was still quite good. I didn't really like the sauce at the main course, but that's probably a matter of taste. The chicken, rice and vegetables were good.

A nicely decorated restaurant. When ordering at the counter you get a number, the food is brought to the table. With me there was a little confusion, since the service, although I had ordered two dishes, after the first already took the number. After the second did not arrive then I asked quickly and still received my food. The portions were big and delicious, the price not high. Attention: Always remember the number or the name of your dish, as the marshals will hand out the numbers of the court and not the given number.

Very good food. Open kitchen so you can see how it is being prepared. Very fast. Possible to adjust a dish to your liking.
